More than any other factor, MLM Leads play a monumental role in the success of your network marketing business.

You’ve probably noticed that the big shot MLM gurus with downlines the sizes of small countries always seem to find a constant supply of MLM leads. Considering the sizes of their organizations, they usually pass them on to various branches of their downlines rather than signing them up directly underneath themselves – but the point is, they never seem to run out of prospects.

How do they do this? It’s simple: They are creative and think outside of the box. Old-school, tried-and-true methods work fine if you’re only looking to build a supplemental income. But what separates the superstars from the minor leagues is the ability to build new systems without outside influence, then adapt that system as the environment changes.

MLM Leads – Think Outside The Box

You’ve probably heard – or were even “trained” – in the old method. You know, meet and greet every single person you see, start a conversation, determine their need then gradually slip in your business as a solution to their need/problem. While there is nothing wrong with this method, ask yourself: “Are the big guns in the MLM industry doing this?” Probably. No doubt those guys are always hitting the pavement; but that’s only half the story. The other half is all the stuff they’re doing besides pounding the streets.

If you want your business to succeed (and who doesn’t?), you’ll need to look beyond the simple and obvious. The only reason why some folks make more than anybody else in network marketing is that they’re willing to try new things, then test the effectiveness of those new things, before making a conclusion as to its validity.

Where To Find MLM Leads?

Everywhere. Literally. Everywhere you go, there is at least one person interested in your business opportunity. The hard part is reaching that one person. Assuming you’re at your local shopping mall, I can guarantee that at least one person in that mall is desperately in need of your business. The problem is finding that one person in a sea of thousands – maybe even tens of thousands – of people (shoppers, clerks, janitors, security guards… you name it).

If you approach every single person… do you see the problem here? It’s called the “Spray and pray” approach, and it’s about .01 percent effective at building a business, and 99.99 percent effective at burning people out of the MLM industry for good.

Think about how the big players work the industry. How many times do they approach total strangers? Once a day? Once a week? Once a month? Maybe. But probably even less than that. See, they’ve developed systems that actually bring the MLM leads to them! How’s that for win-win?

You’re probably saying to yourself, “Sure, the gurus can do it, but there’s no way I can make that happen.”

That’s completely untrue. Remember, these big wigs started at the same spot you’re at. They didn’t magically wake up one morning with a line of warm MLM leads wrapped around their house. No way. They went out and made it happen.

How?

By being creative. Thinking outside of the box. Maybe even bucking the traditional “what you’re supposed to do” mentality and trying new systems for themselves before making a judgment.

Here are just a few ways the MLM superstars keep the leads pouring in:

  • Buy MLM Leads. That’s right, the industry’s biggest players frequently buy leads lists. If it’s good enough for them, isn’t it at least worth looking into?
  • Advertise Your MLM Business. Mass communication is much more effective than one-on-one when it comes to getting your word out. Remember the mall scenario? Imagine if you had a giant billboard ad talking about your business. Chances are you’d find that one warm lead right away (and probably a handful of others, too).
  • Become An Expert. 90 percent of any battle is acting the part. If you look confident and savvy, people will naturally gravitate towards you. Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself and then decide.

These are just a few examples of ways to boost your MLM business. There are many, many more. How many can you come up with? MLM Lead Generation is all about creativity, so grab a pen and paper and start brainstorming.

The point is, building a successful network marketing business takes creative thinking, especially as it relates to building MLM Leads.
